Are you craving fresh from the farm, healthful, colorful, local grown and produced foods? Cooking groceries should not be boring! Our farm co-op's food selection is full of your absolute favorites AND fun new varieties so you can try new foods and make cooking fun! We all find ourselves dreaming of Summer fresh Zucchini, crisp cucumbers, super sweet corn and juicy slicing tomatoes, right?? How about fresh fruits, eggs, milk, cheeses, pasta, rice, flour, honey and more?! We've got your cravings covered for approximately 50 weeks per year! (We typically take the two weeks of Christmas and New Year's off). "Ok," you say, "So, farmer Nicoele, what are the deets???" Read below.... 🍅🍆🌽🥒🥦🥕🥛🥚🥩🍗🍋

* $100 per week (plus $3.20 taxes/processing fee) is intended to replace most or all of your grocery shopping depending on how you eat. Monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, and one time pickup plans are available. Orders are picked and packed by the co-op and our farm. At this time we don't have the ability to offer customizable orders. If you have a specific food allergy, please contact me and I will work with you to the best of my ability. Orders placed by 7pm on Sundays will be ready for pickup the following Thursday.

* An example of a typical order- Each week will be different so you don't get bored!

Staple Items You Will Get Year Round:

1/2 gallon milk

1 dozen eggs **Due to Current Seasonal Shortages- eggs may not be available every week and may be substituted**

One or two of the following : cheeses, yogurts or other dairy products

1lb bag of salad greens

One or two of the following: mushrooms, rice, rolled oats, corn meal, or 1lb flour

In season Root veggies such as onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, etc

Items You Will Get When In Season:

1lb tomatoes

1lb peppers

Citrus or avocados from an organic partner ranch in California- things we can’t grow here (limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruit, and more!) They pick and deliver fresh every week.

Honey or Maple Syrup

A jar of Marinara Sauce or salsa

A selection of other fresh veggies, fruits and herbs in season like greens, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, radishes, cucumber, summer and winter squashes, cabbage, melons, apples and more!

We guarantee you will get $100 worth of fair market value farm fresh foods, comparable to or cheaper than buying organic at grocery chains. We are also working on adding farms that will offer baked goods and more in the future.

*Service Area: We are located 2.5 miles North of the Manteno BP Gas Station on Rte 45 in Kankakee County. You are welcome to join if you live out of the area as long as you agree to pick up your order here at the farm on the designated day and times. All of the food is perishable and we do not currently have enough storage facilities (refrigeration and freezers) to accommodate late pick ups. We cannot guarantee freshness or offer refunds on orders picked up outside of regular hours.

*Pickup: will be on the farm on Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Once the growing season starts, we may possibly add a second day due to demand.*

This is the Vegetarian Version! (FOR THOSE WHO WANT MEAT, PLEASE GO BACK TO THE MENU AND SELECT THAT OPTION!) You will still get dairy and eggs with extra produce. At this time unfortunately, we cannot sustainably offer a completely vegan option as we have many other accounts to fill with produce outside of this program.

* Once paid you can join our members Only Facebook Group for weekly updates, recipes, and have fun meeting and sharing ideas with your community!

* I’m also working on an application with the state for those who have Snap link card benefits so we can hopefully also accept that soon. I will update if this option becomes available.

* We are starting out with 50 families to see how things go. We will expand as needed. We are so excited to be able to provide our community with local, more nutrient dense, longer storing fresh foods!

* All of the farms in our co-op are either certified Organic or grow organically without certification. We all use sustainable practices to feed and nurture our soil, which makes for healthier plants with less pests and disease and more dense nutrients.

By joining a Belluso's 1871 Farm Veggie Membership, I understand that I am supporting a family farm. In exchange for my support of the farm, I will receive 7 bi-weekly shares of the harvest during the growing season. (July to October, 14 weeks supply). The farmers have a proven track record of working in good faith to fulfill their commitments, however, weather events can adversely affect crop timing and yields. The calendar and bi-weekly share may vary according to weather extremes. Any outstanding balance towards a Veggie Share needs to be paid before we will harvest a share, unless participating in good standing in the payment plan. The Payment Plan is offered by Shopify and is not run by our farm. If paying by check directly to the farm, there shall be a $40 fee charged for all returned checks. There shall be a $100 non-refundable labor and supply fee for all contracts cancelled before the season starts. Produce and flowers are perishable items- no cancellation refund once they are planted.
